INDIBA Equus
Cellular-Level Support for Recovery and Long-Term Soundness

What Is INDIBA Equus?
Indiba® Equus is a non-invasive therapy that uses gentle radio-frequency technology to support the body’s natural processes at the cellular level. It helps encourage circulation, ease discomfort, promote mobility, and support recovery in both rehabilitation and performance horses.
Unlike many surface-level therapies, Indiba works deeper within the tissues and can be used on its own or combined with massage and other modalities to create a whole-body care plan tailored to your horse’s needs.
How INDIBA Works?
Indiba® Equus operates at a fixed frequency of 448 kHz, a setting shown to be highly effective for supporting biological processes in the body. This unique frequency creates both thermal and non-thermal effects, meaning it can either gently warm tissues or work without noticeable heat, depending on the horse’s needs.
Because of the way the current flows between the handpiece and grounding plate, Indiba can reach deeper tissues than manual therapy alone. This includes areas such as the sacroiliac (SI) joint, deep gluteal muscles, and even the psoas muscle — structures that cannot be directly palpated or influenced through hands-on work.
By supporting circulation and oxygen delivery at this depth, Indiba encourages balance in the tissues and assists the body’s natural repair processes. This makes it especially valuable for horses in rehabilitation, performance recovery, or those with chronic soreness.
Benefits of INDIBA
Indiba® Equus is widely used in both rehabilitation and performance care because it provides gentle, yet powerful, support at the cellular level. Horses often relax deeply during sessions as the therapy works to restore balance and comfort.
Key benefits include:
- Helps ease muscle tension, soreness, and fatigue
- Supports circulation and oxygen delivery for tissue recovery
- Promotes mobility and flexibility in joints and soft tissues
- Encourages lymphatic flow to reduce swelling and fluid build-up
- Complements rehabilitation programs for soft tissue and joint issues
- Enhances performance recovery after training or competition
- Supports long-term soundness and overall wellness
Indiba can be tailored to each horse’s needs — from those in active rehab to those needing regular maintenance or peak performance care.

Indiba® Equus Improves Back Comfort and Flexibility in Sport Horses
Learn MoreA recent study on sport horses found that four sessions of radio-frequency therapy at 448 kHz (Indiba® Equus) over two weeks led to greater back flexibility and reduced muscle and spinal pain, while horses that received no active treatment showed little change.

Indiba® Equus and Exercise Performance in Horses
Learn MoreA study on sport horses found that a single session of Indiba® Equus, applied 24 hours before exercise, led togreater activity and flexibility during work. Researchers suggest this may be due to improved circulation and gentle warming of deep muscles, helping support performance preparation and recovery.
